About Us
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Pause to Action is a nonprofit public benefit organization dedicated to redefining the midlife experience for women through comprehensive education, meaningful advocacy, and community-driven support. Founded on the belief that women deserve clarity—not confusion—through one of the most significant transitions of their lives, we are committed to reshaping the way society understands, speaks about, and responds to perimenopause and menopause.
Our work begins earlier than most women are ever told to pay attention. Hormonal changes can start as early as the mid-30s, yet the majority of women enter perimenopause blindsided. Pause to Action is here to change that narrative. By educating women in their mid-30s and beyond, we empower them to recognize early shifts, understand their bodies, and approach midlife from a place of knowledge and preparation rather than crisis or fear.
We collaborate with leading medical experts, researchers, thought leaders, and local partners to deliver evidence-based information directly to the women who need it—before symptoms escalate or confusion sets in. Through expert panels, community events, workshops, digital resources, and accessible education, we strive to elevate awareness and expand access to care, closing the knowledge gap that has left so many women feeling unheard and unsupported.
Pause to Action is deeply committed to amplifying women’s voices, challenging outdated narratives, and ensuring that midlife health is recognized as a vital component of lifelong wellbeing—not an afterthought. When women are informed, validated, and supported, they are better equipped to advocate for themselves, make empowered decisions, and move through this chapter with clarity and confidence.
Our vision is to create a cultural shift—one where early education is the norm, where women’s midlife health is prioritized, and where every woman feels seen, valued, and respected. At Pause to Action, we are building a movement rooted in knowledge, community, and the unwavering belief that women deserve comprehensive support not only during the transition, but long before it begins.--
